The Mission: Create a website for a IT consultant with a quirky, approachable vibe and a filterable resource section that can be easily contributed to by the owner.
The Challenge
JCS Technologies wanted a website that made technology feel approachable for his clients. He often deals with companies and business owners who don’t know where to start in order to create efficiencies through technology, so accessibility and invoking a sense of “we got this, no problem” was key to hitting the mark.
My Approach
In an effort to keep the website as approachable as possible, I decided to go with light color scheme, which bucks the trend of the typical doom and gloom dark tech websites. Rather than use photos, illustrative graphics were used – again, keeping the overall vibe of the site upbeat and approachable. It was important to provide a clear sense of the services JCS Technologies provides, so services and their value to a client’s business operations are discribed throughout. Click to call buttons, and other CTA elements are used throughout to encourage conversions.
The Results
JCS Technologies is an IT consultancy in the Indianapolis area. This site design has at it’s heart a user-friendly interface with multiple calls to action as well as a searchable resource archive that the client can build upon.
